RE-DISCOVERING OUR VISION _Part 3

Mosaic Bible Fellowship

 

I.  MISSION:  BRINGING BROKEN PEOPLE BACK TO A  LOVING GOD

 

II.  MOTIVES: 

  • RACIAL DIVERSITY : WE ACCEPT PEOPLE BECAUSE GOD HAS ACCEPTED US.  

 

  • SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE:  SO THAT PEOPLE WILL UNDERSTAND HOW TO RESPOND TO GOD AND PLEASE HIM.

 

  • PRACTICAL MINISTRY:  WE SERVE OTHERS IN THE CHURCH AND IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY BECAUSE CHRIST SERVED US.

 

  • CARING RELATIONSHIPS:  NO ONE SHOULD DO LIFE ALONE. 

 

III.  MAP:  Strategy  – How are we going to do it?

A.  Four Key Components: Bring, Worship, Grow & Serve

      • BRING : REPRESENTS BRINGING YOURSELF AND OTHERS TO WORSHIP ON WEEKENDS AND OTHER EVENTS. BRINGING PEOPLE TO KNOW CHRIST AND EXPERIENCING THE LIFE HE OFFERS.  THIS IS THE BEGINNING AND ENDING OF EVERYTHING MOSAIC DOES.
      • WORSHIP: REPRESENTS OUR SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE
      • GROW: REPRESENTS THE SMALL GROUPS MOSAIC DOES ON AND OFF CAMPUS (STREAMING OR IN PERSON), MOKIDS,   SPECIAL EQUIPPING SEMINARS OFFERED SEASONALLY AT THE CHURCH.

SERVE :  IS THE LIFESTYLE OF SERVICE BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE CHURCH.

 MINISTRY SERVING OPPORTUNITIES  @ MOSAIC :

      • Bereavement Care: Provide comfort to members grieving the loss of loved ones by sending sympathy cards, making phone calls and praying with them.
      • Baptism Coordinator:  Conduct baptism orientations and classes, as well as communicate with candidates and their parents.
      • Benevolence Care: Food and Clothing assistance to  individuals and families  in need.
      • CDL Van Driver :  Provide Transportation to and from Church for Members and visitors.  Must possess a current Class B Missouri Drivers License with a Passengers endorsement and no drivers violations within the past 5 years.  This person is also responsible for taking the Van to the shop for regular maintenance.
      • Greeters:  Greet all church attendees, provide visitor cards and offering envelopes.  Assist where needed.
      • Mokidz Teacher:  Prepare lessons, activities, crafts and class materials prior to class.  Teach the bible lessons in a creative way so that children will learn and grow in their faith.
      • Small Group Leader Men:  Encourage connectivity through fellowship directing discussion of an approved Bible study curriculum, and group engagement in a service project.
      • Small Group Leader Women: Encourage connectivity through fellowship directing discussion of an approved Bible study curriculum, and group engagement in a service project.
      • Stage Crew: Assist with setup and breakdown of Stage equipment and mics on Sundays.
